"These are a fun appetizer and a much easier way to serve brie to a group. They are very versatile so you might want to try a brown sugar and walnut filling instead of the cranberry, or whatever is your preference!"

  1. Can you assemble these in advance and bake off later? I wasn’t sure if it would mess them up

  2. You have some great recipes, but I can never get them to print out to the point I have gotten so frustrated that I have thought about cancelling getting your emails since I figure what is the point if they never print out. Yours is the only webpage I have this problem with, no matter what I have tried and yes I am signed in. I thought at first maybe that was the problem. Can you please help? Your recipes look and sound so yummy and lots of great reviews, but I don't feel like printing them out if there is a lot of directions. Thanks in advance if you can help me figure this problem out. Would be very appreciative.

  1. These were FANTASTIC! They were simple to make and impressive enough that people thought I spent a lot of time on them! The people who were less-adventurous and had never had brie, were so surprised that they liked something new! Haha. After making them once as-is, I experimented with them some-- you can use the exact same recipe and substitute Lil' Smokies cut in half for the cranberry and they make an awesome savory bite. Another thing-- you can use Pillsbury croissants (in a can) if you can't find puff pastry!

  2. Awesome! I think I got mine a little too full because the cheese bubbled out and ran over but it didn't stick so cleaned up easily enough. Instead of cranberry sauce I used leftover cranberry chutney from recipe #468443. Also used a goat cheese brie which was a little runnier than I expected so that might have added to the bubbling over issue. Anyway, these are fab and I will be making them again for sure! Thanks for sharing!

  3. These are so good and so easy! I used less cheese (a 7oz triangle) and less cranberries. I would have like more cranberries, but I don't know how you get more to fit without them spilling over the side (and causing them to stick). Mine took 20 minutes to bake. I made them a few hours ahead. I had leftovers the next day and they were still great - you could definitely make these ahead of time and leave covered in the fridge until serving.

  5. These were yummy! I didn't read the part about only letting them partially cool before removing from the tins, so mine stuck quite a bit. They were really ugly, but I got a lot of compliments on them.

  1. So easy and they got EXCELLENT reviews at a party! i did change one thing, if you have the time to make it a little more fancy... i used a salsa made of cranberries, prunes, orange, pecans and sugar instead of cranberry sauce (a mix i got off a turkey sandwich recipe). just put it all in a food processor. it gave it some more texture. But I don't doubt that it would be excellent with the cranberry sauce as well. I will definitely make this again!!!

  4. Absolutely fantastic!!! I made these for a co*cktail party and used raspberry jam instead of cranberry sauce. They were a HUGE hit! Definitely one I'll make from now on, especially considering how easy it is.
