Festive fudgey vegan brownies made with mince meat for a Christmas twist! These chocolate-y treats are easy to make gluten-free too.

All I want for Christmas is… Brownies.

These gooey, chocolatey brownies are made with a Christmas twist – Festive spices and mincemeat!

I was toying with the idea of calling these vegan Mince Pie Brownies or Mincemeat Brownies butdon’t want it to deter those who don’t like mince pies… because I think you will love these brownies.

These brownies are vegan and therefore eggless and dairy-free too.

There is a gluten-free option and in fact, the ones photographed are made with gluten-free flour to demonstrate how well it works in this recipe.

The mince pie filling gives these brownies a fruity, natural sweetness and an incredible texture.

Honestly one of the nicest brownies I’ve had!

So if you’re craving something chocolate-y but with lots of festive spice, give these Christmas brownies a try.

I went out and bought mince pie filling but when I read the label there is beef suet in it so it’s definitely not vegan. I ended up leaving it out but I wish you had a note in the recipe saying you need a certain brand or even just to check the label. I’ve never used it before and just took your word that it was vegan since you have the recipe listed as vegan.

Hi Rebecca, thank you for pointing this out – you’re right, I should have mentioned to make sure it’s vegan friendly. I’ve updated the post now. Sorry you had a wasted shopping trip and hope you were able to find a vegan-friendly version! Have a great Christmas :)

I found vegan mincemeat in co-op (their own version) I can’t attest to the quality or taste as I’ve. It tried it yet.

You could just add dried fruit, some chopped nuts or simply leave it out :-)
